Spring cleaning

Whenever you look in old town in Ávila there is a church, a convent with its bell tower. And this moment in the year, most of them get old inhabitants. Storks. By itself, like this one.

Or in a band as these other ones. Look at them, trying to figure out the best way to clean their old nest.

Do not think they are the symbol of the town. But they are much loved.

It's a late winter here, so your beautiful photos fill my heart with hope. I totally love spring: I feel I am coming to life with all the beings around.
The storks come later here, and the last snows in March are called the "storks' snow" and the "lambs' snow".
I hope the first stork you saw this year was a flying one, because that would predict a lot of traveling. The ones in the nest mean you will mostly stay at home. Which was it?
