Invitation to Transylvania

This is said to be the most beautiful movie ever made about Romania and it depicts one of the areas I love most in this country.
I would be honoured if you took the time for this virtual visit.
And please remember you are always welcome for a real one!

Sustainability, combination of nature and human systems. Environment. Restoration. Respect.
The white church, the tradition fortified churches. The old lady who lives by herself with no running water or electricity. The stream where she gets water from. Her blouse.
the horses and the bears, the deers, the birds, the sheep. the shepherd's hut to sleep at night.
old furniture and architecture to be saved.
Traditional communities gatherin together to keep their heritage alive.
Really it's a good movie, even if Prince Wales is there.

The prairies at the beginning reminded me of Moeciu. and the green, there must be a Romanian green famous as the blue one for the houses and stables.

Thanks for the journey and the invitation.
I wish I could go again.
Hugs

Thank you very much for accepting to share this. I hope you do come here again, there are nice places to see. And if you come, I hope to share some of them for real.
I'm really happy you saw it.
Hugs.

One point I can't help making.
The people in this movie are the ones we should have our European neighbours see, not the ones coming there to beg etc. Maybe this way, we'd see no more long faces when we say where we come from, as it happens to me all the time. These are the real ones.
But this is a long and painful discussion, and maybe this is not the place.

People often fear who and what they don't know. sometimes the cold shoulders we are given is just a proof of ignorance.
Europe has many faces. Don't pay attention to the long ones!
