Zorita Sunsets

Sunsets are between yesterday and tomorrow. They are the goodbye greeting of used hours, the promise of the mysterious night, the silent talk of darkness, the expectation of the new day.
Something of the peace kept for tired souls escapes through the last rays.

This is (as you say) painfully beautiful. Now I do know what this means.
Makes me want to escape to some peaceful place I could rest. Just get on a train without a ticket or a destination, all by myself. Instead, I am trying to work and watching the cat, who is not well. Hoping the daily storm will at least allow me to run for half our tonight- I'm rotting in here.

No storm today, amazingly. Funny, it was St. Eli which is supposed to be a stormy day. :)
