Luggage
Sorting and packing, deciding what to throw and what to keep (half way through that in our old home, and one more apartment waiting) is a good time for reflecting, prioritizing, going through the family history. Understanding better our own life, our mistakes, our victories, our treasures.
So many papers, photos, objects that people gather in a lifetime. All requiring attention and decisions, and each one holding a moment within. What is important, significant, valuable? What to let go? It's a bit sad that all there stay behind us, that objects are so much more durable than people.
Still, keeping everything is not possible and in a way not even good. Sometimes, I feel the urge to make room, to let go, to start fresh. With less luggage, less pain, almost no past.
Anyway, this piece of luggage is to be kept. Because it has a heart and it cares, and I think any caring heart is to be kept, even if it belongs to a silly creature such as this one. :)

There's nothing to be thrown, unfortunately not everything can't be taken. It's home archaelogy! Nobody is silly in our homes!
Speaking of archaeology, the furry fossil in the photo is not in a very good state, and having it "reconditioned" will cost a small fortune. But he problem is at the vet's she behaves like a Rottweiler, it takes 3 people to give her a shot. Might be quite a challenge to have her have a thorough check-up! :)
Her first day of treatment. She had to have 3 shots- it took 4 people to do that. It's supposed to go on for 10 days in a row- no way. The vet said she's never seen such a beast. All this at 38 degrees. :(
Poor lady!. Now, you will have to treat her to something she really likes!
We had another animal loss. We found one of the dogs dead in Zorita. He was the last one we had there. We don't know what happened to him, either a heartattack or a heat stroke. It was hard for LucĂa. She had addopeted it 9 years ago.
Nothing resists for ever.
I'm sorry for the loss of your dog. And for the pain, too.
She's upset with me, she won't even eat. It will be worse tomorrow, but she really needs the treatment, she has bad kidney problems. It's hard having to force her.
Yes, nothing lasts forever, maybe we should show our affection more- even to pets. They don't know it, they have to feel it.
She's not going any better, despite the treatment. Just a cat, I will not worry for a cat, I won't, I won't.
why not? they are part of our feelings. She will improve. Take care
For this one time it seems you were not right. She's doing worse.
What's happening to her? is she in pain?
sorry to hear about it.I know, even if you want to resist, feelings have no limits and you will be sad, but you are doing as much as you car for her. Take care
Feelings do have limits, they have a life cycle too- like us. But I hope that some management is possible, although very hard. Really working on it.
Anyway, I will not let her go without a fight. She deserves it for her love.
Why can't we learn tenderness from our pets? She follows me all over the place like a shadow, when we eat she slips under the chair, rubs her head to my heels and rests it on my slippers and feet. Her shaved abdomen is soft, striped and vulnerable. And- amazingly- she willingly takes her pill!
