After the storm

There's been a big storm this evening. It was smaller in Ávila but it was huge in Zorita. When we got there, it was not raining any longer but paths, streams and the river were full with brown water.

When water falls down in such a quantity in a short period of time, roots, branches, pools can be seen everywhere.

Colours change and the moon in the sky looks like laughing. I don't know why, but it looked so to me.

After our storms life is different in the ocuntryside.

I suppose the water was good, though. Have you had a dry summer this year too?
Was the moon laughing in a friendly or in an ironic way? I am not very fond of the moon, it's too cold and distant- it scares me.
Now, seriously, your sunset photos are very nice, you really should think of having more, maybe in winter too, and opening a small exhibition. Could even be a family project. I would show them, if I took those. I like them a lot.

I think she was laughing in a friendly way, at least what I felt. Of ocurse water is good after, as you supposed a dry summer, but when it falls in such big quantities it can make damage as well.
thank you for the compliment about the sunset. In fact I'm collecting them in a separate section in the ocmputer and I could do something with them. One of my nephews wants to buy some from me. I usually send him photos because i know he loves Zorita and he's living in Tenerife, so no many opportunities to see this landscape that can be so soothing for us. I'll let you know if I do something, or better, I'll send it to you.

by the way, have you realised I am always in the same place when the sun sets?

Yes, please, let me know! Please do. :)
You know those films on Youtube with the same place aound the year- you could make a similar thing in print!

No, I haven't realized, although I have noticed a resemblance, but I don't know Zorita and I just supposed it was a similar place. Where do you watch the sunset from? Why?

By the way, I hope your storm is over with no traces, and that the final part of the year will be as peaceful as your sunset picture.
