Old ladies

Old trams out for a walk for Bucharest's Days. Like old ladies bringing colour, memories and nostalgic smiles to the gray streets. The red ones were still in use as we were kids, but I seldom saw them because I used to live in my grandparents' village by then.

This red one-eyed is the oldest, I think. I hardly remember it.

Good-bye, old ladies.

Despite their oldfashioned look, these old ladies keep an elegance that some buses lack today.
Urban history alive!

For a certain little boy, the oldest one was "fascinating" because you could stand by the driver and closely watch him, and also because the step went down when the door opened. The way kids see things! :)
Have you noticed how our childhood impressions remain deeply engraved in our mind, even if they are not clear?
