Thank you for this nice surprise. Here is a wish I heard and liked, in return: may you have all you have already had and you would still like to, all you have not had and you long to, all you miss and you don't know you do.

I visited my former tutor class yesterday, as I had to take some papers to my old school. Of course, they were all over me with hugs and kisses and tears. They were always very warm and hearty and still are, even if they are teenagers now-pimples and all. But what really touched me was that, after telling me about their grades and news, they had two requests: let's go to a movie again and let's do a project again. They were in two Maths projects and they really loved this way of learning. Now they are back to the traditional way. Math collaborative projects are quite rare, still. Maybe it's stupid of me, but I'm thinking this is one small change I can bring around me, some difference I can make: by my teaching. Maybe the only contribution I can bring. And if so, it's worth the effort. It was the first optimistic thought this year.

Congratulations! It is always good to feel students' recognition. In fact, they are the ones who can really make the idfference between a teacher and another one.
By the way, have you read the announcement in the etwinning portal about a Learning Lab to use a software specially designed for Maths.
I wish ricardo could speak English!
Learning to cope with the new situations is the first optimistic lesson I got this year!

I won't be in this Learninglab, the software is expensive and races are not my cup of tea. Besides, everyone would say I was playing instead of working if I did such a project. But there are two other Labs that sound tempting. Will you be in this one? Is that the situation you have to cope with? If so, it would be amazing.
Anyway, I am quite busy with closing the semester, applications and something do do for Seville.

I may not be ain any Learninglab. I'm also busy with the application for the new comenius, the material for the visit study and my Danish, which has been resting on a shelf for a long time. But the most urgent task is giving a hand for whatever the family could need, and it is going to be very much.
Are you coming to Seville? or is the material for your partner?
We are starting tomorros, although we won't have all the students. The school transport for those who come from the villages won't be working due to snow and very low temperatures. I'm afraid the school will be freezing.

I probably am going to Seville, my NSS asked me to be a speaker for one of the stands. I'm in sheer terror, but of course I cannot refuse. But even if you come too, we don't have to meet. I understand.
I know about hard situations in the family and what coping with them means. I can only say I'm truly sorry.
Have a good trimester at school and take care.

you will like Sevilla, you'll see. If I go, it will be on a private basis.
No need to apologise about anything.

I'll also talk about PLI. If all goes the way I plan.

You haven't seen the finalists lists yet- it might be an official trip, not a private one.
