in our lives

Beyond the blinds, in a narrow corridor, a field mouse has built its nest.

There it is, a bit worried because of human presence. but feeling safe at home.

He, even dares to look at us with an odd stare. Menacing or menaced?

He walks from right to left along his street.

Feeling warm and protected, he looks like a baby. however, how little he knows about his future. But who knows?

Do you think we know more of our future? Do you think we have a wider horizon than his, beyond the glass? I don't. I even envy him, because he thinks he's safe.

You know I particularly like rodents, do you? I have never found mice scary or disgusting, I had a white mouse (Sue-Ellen) and a Guinea pig, Coby.
I'd like to have a chinchilla. Anything small, fury and with big teeth- I like it. :)

Talking of creatures- I think my cat grows deaf. And she keeps having panic attacks, howling mostly at night.
