Water- Blog Action Day

Although there is no comparison with the situation in underdevelopped countries, the fight for drinkable water is always a challenge in today's societies.
When Sewage Treatment Plants are not able to cope with the amount of water from heavy storms, it falls down into reservoirs. Bad smell, grey colour and dead fish are the consequences of the lack of care. Constant care and full attention are required to protect life around us.

That's quite a problem. By the way, I guess you have heard about the environmental accident in Hungary- we were quite worried for the Danube, but apparently it was a lucky thing that the polluted river met two others before going into the Danube, so the poison was diluted. I hope it's true...

yes, I did . I was really scared and couldn't find the way to ask you. I thought you would also be scared and in the end, I could do nothing.
I also hope there is no poison and especially I hope powerful people, those who have the world in their hands, find a way to be less harmful.

Speaking about politicians: we had elections for Pupils' President this week, because a new law says that a pupil has to attend (without voting)the School Board meetings. (By the way, there are only 2 teachers left in the School Bard, according to this new law, out of 7 members. Who will decide for the school?)
So, it was election time for students, a real campaign with posters, stupid promises and all. You will say- fine, they get prepared for life. No, they already know it all- the candidates were not good, the promises consisted in Playstations, one even lied about his behaviour grade to sesm eligible. They know it all about politics. Our future is safe with them. :(((
