Nearby

As close as Brasov, but in another country. A town called Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Not bad, but I was happy to be back here.

it is not a big town, isn't it? It looks very traditional, it even has walls. was it also a fortress-town?
I can understand why you wanted to come back. Perhaps you felt they still had a lof of work to do?
the landscape is really gorgeous.

thank you for these moments

It was the strongest fortified city in Bulgaria in the 12-14 centuries and the country's capital for a while. It's a very diverse town, with very traditional streets as well as a lot of communist architecture.
Frankly, it's too similar to here, only for the most parts-much worse. That's why it was a big relief to be home again. It's strange, but I even liker Kayseri better.
Thanks for the comment.
