it is not a big town, isn't it? It looks very traditional, it even has walls. was it also a fortress-town? I can understand why you wanted to come back. Perhaps you felt they still had a lof of work to do? the landscape is really gorgeous.
It was the strongest fortified city in Bulgaria in the 12-14 centuries and the country's capital for a while. It's a very diverse town, with very traditional streets as well as a lot of communist architecture. Frankly, it's too similar to here, only for the most parts-much worse. That's why it was a big relief to be home again. It's strange, but I even liker Kayseri better. Thanks for the comment.
