I switched it off, and you?
After a long walk in Zorita and without no time to have a shower and get ready to go out, I decided to stay at home and celebrate with a glass of wine the Earth Hour. I hope this small gesture means something. Cheers to the Earth!

There is a blooming tree in one of the photos. And lots of green. Are trees already blooming there? Nothing similar here yet.
Yes, fruit trees are blooming, those are almond trees in Zorita. although I have not see it the area in el Tiétarwhere there are lots of fruit trees is like a snowed mountain with the white of the flowers.
This Earth Hour is interesting from the individual experience. we were home with adela. she was having a shower nibutes before and rushed for her hair-drier to be able to switch of, once it had started we were sitting together and she asked What can we do now?. It's amazing the amount of chat we did. It was funny, although I don't think these moments can be taken to everyday's life. Too many things in our society are built on energy. But, we could do up without so many private individual activities such as TV, computers.
You know, switching off was a bit controversial here. Some of the older people, like us, still remember the days before 1989, when we had long hours without electricity, randomly, but daily, for saving reasons. There was even an anecdote: we are having so much fun, Bucharest is just like a discotheque- lights go on turning off and on all the time.
So, some did not want to turn off yesterday.
Yes, we could do with some of our daily individual activities, and favour connecting to others, like you and Adela did. I wish we could. I wish...
I meant "we could do WITHOUT some of our daily individual activities". Getting more and more stupid, as you see.
Going to cook, while I am still smart enough for that. :)
Have a sunny happy day.
