Saffrons

Saffrons (brînduşe) and catkins (mâţişori) for you. The last word literally means "little kittens", maybe because they are furry.
I love both, for the hope and vulnerability in them.

I have not seen any flowers in the parks yet. There are some flowers in the trees but they may have to suffer a lot for this coquetish way of them. We will have a frozen night in a couple of days, so they will not be able to do up with it.
You know many names of flowers, I'm quite useless with them. But we call the purple ones: "pensamientos". I don't know why.
I have finished correcting tests. But I still have to go on correcting essays. But I'm very tired tonight, so I'll do it tomorrow, in springtime.

"Pensamientos" means "thoughts", right? Maybe if you offer them, it means you have been thinking of that person...:) Would that go for the ones in picture?
Right, spring starts, it's the equinox. The trees are still bare here.
Have a peaceful spring night.

It's weird: this spring, everything is late for the date. We should have the lilac blooming for Easter, but here is no leaf anywhere. We won't be able to have the traditional Easter food (that is lamb- but I never have it anyway) because the lambs were born too late, and the vegetables are not grown either. This time last week we had snow, but today it's so warm we wore short sleeved shirts outside. Strange weather.
